Well, in the 2009 MWN semifinal match between BYU and New Mexico, there was no lipstick, no perfume and no fingernail polish. There was, however, good old fashioned chick fighting. Check out the byu's Kassidy Shumway (21) getting her bell rung (or neck snapped) by New Mexico's Elizabeth Lambert (15). I loved a good chick fight as much as the next guy, but c'mon. @pro1tein Ray Lewis plays an entirely different sport. And the tackling from behind that went between the girls legs was definitely not legal, as she took out the girls legs first. That was a card offense. doesn’t matter if she was “trying” to playing the ball or not. As a coach, if I ever had an athlete behave this way, they would not play for me again that season.
also if you want to fight someone dont do it during soccer do it after the game so you dont embarrass yourself

The real problem was the ref letting the action get too physical. Idiot announcers don’t know a thing about soccer or sport. If you don’t want them to compete, don’t keep score.

This was only news because it happened in a women’s game. The fact that it was news because it happened in a women’s game doesn’t really help with the credibility of women’s sports. If the lefty media want women’s sports to be seen on an equal level (or closer to being on an equal level) with men’s sports, they can’t shine the light on a situation like this. This is the kind of thing that happens during “competition”. Too bad competition is something liberals dislike.
