Isn’t there a college whose fans have a tradition of standing through every home football game? The idea is that they are ready to run on the field in case the coach needs them to play.
It seems like I remember the story. But I can’t remember which college it is. Maybe it’s several colleges. I don’t know.
I want to use them for an analogy in a speech that I’m writing. (Like always be ready; you never know when you’ll be called on.) Can somebody help me?

Aren’t you tired of powerhouse college football teams scheduling cupcakes just so they can make sure they get in a BCS game? If they are so good, why don’t they prove it by having a strong out of conference schedule? Who else has disgust for this way of scheduling in college football?

We’re talking I-A here, with a good football program. I want to know what college you think not only has good football, but also offers top-notch academics. Please support your answer with more than the usual hearsay or baseless opinions.

How did the Princeton football team get to Rutgers? How did the other college football teams arrive at their games?
