Division III college football question- How competitive is it to make the team?

I was just wondering on the overall difficulty (i know it usually depends on the college) of making a Division III football team. Are they competitive in terms of handing out spots on the team? Or is it fairly easy to make a team?

Thanks!

Every Saturday my husband & I host a college football day where most of our friends (mostly guys) come over and we watch a few football games, toss the football around, drink beer, etc. I try to pride myself in food selection but need some new ideas. What are some easy, inexpensive, fun football-party type foods for my football friends??? Right now I’ve been doing sloppy joes, store-bought pizza in the oven, wheat thins, cheese nips, pretzels and cookies. How can I mix it up and give people better food and selection?

Would trying football kicking for a year than switching to cross country the next year in college work?

If the football kicking did not go as good as I wanted it to go, I’d switch to cross country the year after that. Because I’m good at running long distances as well as football and soccer kicking, does doing football for a year than switching to cross country the year after that work, if the your football kicking did not go as good as you wanted it to go, example: you were not accurate with field goals 45 yards or below. I’d greatly appreciate some answers.
