The current second place of the English Premier League and 18-times Premier League champions, Liverpool, defeated in a whipping victory of 5-0 to Aston Villa. This triumph places Liverpool just one point behind the current English Premier League champion, Manchester United, who lost in week 30 against Fulham 2-0. 08/09 has been and gone.
