I think it’s because they want to use alliteration E.g “Soccer Saturday” or “Football Saturday” See?
What channel is this that refers to football as “soccer” and yet they speak in English accents. Have they been indoctrinated by Americans? Lol.

Of course it’s a free World but people like u,football fans who think it’s ok to abuse someone & say whatever you like just because someone disagrees with your opinion,says ANYTHING negative about your team or just because they support a different team to yours are idiotic morons.Nobody deserves abuse just because of who they support,but it seems most football fans just don’t get this at all.They think they can say & do what they like just because they are supporting their team. It’s utter crap!

It’s comments and views like yours that gives football fans a bad reputation. You seem to think just because you are a football fan you can say and do what you like because something is said against your team! *Sigh*
