He really was ridiculous in his prime wasn’t he. His incredible bursts of speed & power combined with his fantastic dribbling ability & technique. His fitness levels let him down later on and he ate his way into trouble.
i agree with u. football has evolved so much. Pele was a king back in his day but u cant say he cant play in today’s times because of course he can’t since the training has gotten harder, the football has become faster and more competitive and modern. but pele had not many to compete against. Ronaldo had Figo Zidane Baggio etc. to compete with and still was a phenomenon. Many recent great players idolize him such as zidane and ibrahimovich. Hes a beast.
no one could touch ronaldo. Ronaldo is by far waaaaaaay better than Pele. And so is maradona. these 2 were fast, had the best control and accuracy they were beasts. But again, Ronaldo was 10x better than any1 else. Im one of his biggest fans and ive seen him play live when he was at Inter. He was a fucking beast. one of the only players that ever made me get up outta my seat. Truly incredible

I agree that Ronaldo has the best combination of power , skill and speed I have ever seen.
But I don’t think he’s much far of Pele. Actually, I don’t even know if he is better than Ronaldo. Imagine if Pele had played on today times.
Soccer become much more professional and harder to play. If Ronaldo played like this back in the 50’s, i’m sure he would be “the king”.
There is no one who can actually take the crown of Pele, because its an impossible comparation.

Pelé, by miles, is the greatest ever. I do not buy this argument he did not play in Europe. He actually had easier times playing against the stiff European defenders than he had against the predadors of Uruguay and Argentina. Do not forget: He played two finals in Europe and scored 5 goals.(WC58, Benfica 62).

RonaldoApprentice its cool..Puskas was never that fast but he had the technique to still dribble 1 or 2 players in the box and he had the most lethal shot i have ever seen apart from Pele..For me his record is the best ever considering he played in Europe his entire career..DiStefano is a fantastic player, but IMO he was more a creator while Puskas was the finisher and what a finisher he was..I like him alot but i wouldnt put him over Cruff, Puskas, R9, Garrincha, Maradona…:)
Puskas is awesome all the way but not really the dribbling- player. He’s more of a goal machine in front of the goal like Nistelrooy and Crespo. Sure he’s got the tech well and dribbling accuracy but just not the speed. I’d rate Ronaldo above him really. Di Stefano is ten times better than Cruff and Puskas IMO too. Dat’s your opinion though =)
Ronaldo is a magician with the ball at his feet! Man I love the fact he makes some of the best defenders look so silly with his skills!!

this has got to be, the best dribbling compilation i have eeeeeever seen, i have seen alot of Maradona dribble skills, Messi etc but this vid is the best i have seen on youtube to date..As far as where i would put R9 on my list it would be
1. Maradona
2.Puskas
3.R9
4.Cruff
5.Garrincha..Pele was a fantastic player but he didnt have that X factor like these other players i mentioned, he was a great goal scorer and passer though..
