shit, i remember when i was on my freshman squad in high school i did the same shit that Alvin Mack does in the movie LOL. I was playing Defensive End and I started talking shit to the Tight End, calling him “my bitch” and saying i was gonna fuck his mom, got a personal foul call LOL. My coach was fucking pissed and sat my ass out for the game hahahaha XD. Blame my dad for letting me watch this movie at 15 years old LOL.

I didn’t know that scene was deleted… this movie was broadcasted on pay tv just 6 months after it came out and that scene was IN and I saw it (and i also noticed from the news those nerds killed themselves on the highway).
I can’t find this movie on the internet to see again. It’s very strange because, according to me, it’s a masterpiece.

Anyone who says the Program is “over the top” has never played D-1 football. I did, and this movie came out 4 years after I graduated. Still gets me hyped when I see it!! If you did not see it the Friday it came out (as i did) you missed the deleted sceen of them lying in the street in the middle of highway traffic. Some college kids tried to mimic the stunt & were killed. The Sceen was deleted the next day. Most realistic football movie ever.

Lattimer = juicer.
The Program = wildly overrated football movie. Best football show/movie ever: Playmakers. So good, the NFL had to pull a bitch move on ESPN to get them to stop showing it. Fantastic show and very accurate. Whereas this movie was just over the top. Kinda like a college version of “Any Given Sunday”.
