The penalty shootout from the Champions League final 2008 in Moscow between Manchester United and Chelsea. Man Utd won 6-5 after John Terry and Nicolas Anelka missed for Chelsea. In “HD”, of course!
… Manchester United Man Chelsea Champions League Final 2008 Football Soccer Penalty Shootout Luzhniki Moscow John Terry Nicolas Anelka

Tevez won’t be doing anything in the champs league for city!!
how could us mighty united lose to…LEEDS????
Nanis was annoyed when he got subbed off for Obertain against Chelsea. Since then he hasn’t played with the flare he used to play with.
Kakuta is a good prospect for Chelsea, I expect to start seeing him a lot next season. He has skill, flare, goal-scorers instinct, pace, Plays with Ronaldinhos style which means he would be good when Chelsea need a goal.
yea ive seen all the wingers of united.. i dont see what people see in obertan to me he is pretty average at best.. he was poor for bordeaux and is ok but nothin special for united thusfar… nani i dont know whats happened with him.. when he came he was quality.. i still think hes good i just think his confidence seems gone doesnt it? and im a bit suprised about tosic i saw him before and really rated him.. he seems a top class young player..have you seen kakuta for chelsea?
Tosic is fighting for the wingers spot with Nani and Obertain. I think Obertain is performing the best at the moment and has the best potential so he is most likely to be seen more then Tosic.
quick question.. what has happened to zoran tosic? hes one united player i rele like he seems to be very talented im suprised to not see him have more games? also quite a fan of anderson aswell.
i watched the game.. overral i was dissapointed with how it went i was hoping for an open game but it was not so.. we didnt play well that is one thing for sure.. i think we are the best this season and have been since guus took over but these last couple of weeks have shown a very poor effort and work rate and if we dont start working harder like before then man u could easily win the title again this season.
I don’t know what to say to that, if you can’t admit it the there isn’t much I can say. Rooney being wrongly called off-side is one example, he usually finishes one on ones. United did outplay Chelsea that game, they had plenty of shots on goal which did come from attacking. Chelsea, this season, are the best team in the Premiership, I personally think, in the world, but that game, United out-played Chelsea, who were not at their best, but they still out-played them. Watch the game.
maybe the loss was a bit harsh but there was no outplaying in the game.. in my eyes it was pretty even but it seemed that only chelsea come to try and win it seemed united only wanted to draw and that reason i think the goal was deserved but yea we didnt get mmuch space uptop the only way we could do anythin was with anelka droppin deep you guys put a few ppl on drogba so it was hard for him to do much aswell.
@marvitodude2006 not been biased but i’d pick ronaldo aswell n just been reading ur other thing about utd gettin beat 1-0 at chelsea n i dno like i think we did outplay chelsea for most of the game and didn’t deserve to lose
agreed… i do like messi aswell but i dont think he has the same impact that ronaldo does.. ronaldo has more power strength and hunger whearas messi probably has better technical skills like ball control etc.. i prefer ronaldo if i had to pick one though.
@marvitodude2006 god for once a chelsea fan has sed ronaldo is the best player in the world most hav sed messi is lol but atm messi is coz of his awards n i think it was coz of 2 slips tbh if tevez didn’t slip utd wud of won n if terry didn’t slip then obv chelsea wud of won
our goal was lucky.. for sure and ronaldos header was class from the best player in the world i have nothing but respect for ronaldo.
but if you talk of luck.. the pen slip… the 6 yard box strike from lamps in extra time hittin the underside of the bar… and drogba placement pass vdsar and hitting the inside of the post.. both teams had chances to win and in the end none did so neither could say they was better which was dissapointing as i wanted to see who would be the best.
@marvitodude2006 well ye ano but how else can you seperate 2 teams giving it their best and still cn’t score because penaltys is the only way really because if it was a golden goal they wud of been at it all night lol then just died of tiredness n our goal was well worked were as urs was lucky
you talking about the 1-0 this season? united did not outplay chelsea at all.. the 1-0 was probably fair however we did not play our best and united played very well at closing us down and did a great job defensively but we managed to get the goal and won.. i think if man u had have attacked like they usually go for then it could have been 1-1 but they came across as very negative to me, i remember anderson playing a good game though.
it was just luck in the penalties as pens always are not a fair way to seperate the two sides especially in that final the 2 sides were inseperable at the time and neither could claim to be better than each other thats a fair assesment.
Well make up your mind then, is it the performance or the result you are on about, because that last defeat United out played Chelsea. Cole’s dive and Drogba’s foul should have voided the goal.
@marvitodude2006 well i supose i was one of them games were it was 2 halfs but we won in the end by a slip but if it wasn’t raining we wud of won anyway because tevez wud of scored but he slipped and made no contact with the ball and just rolled across the face of goal and we still beat you 3-0 the last time use won at OT was only coz the league was already won and use hav been lucky in both wins at wembley lampards shudn’t of counted and bridge wasn’t a free kick but at OT u won’t win this time
I watched in a barf in America coz I was on hols and there were Chelski and eveyne… great atmosthere…. VIVA JOHN TERRY… VIVA JOHN TERRY haha
i agree with the first half performance.. but then we took over with the 2nd half and both extra time halfs..
the jan game congrats you beat a team who had been led astray by a bad manager… you fail this year we beat you twice and counting
havent you read the news? … chelsea debt free now.. all debt is converted to equity… now if u want to talk of debt.. how about uniteds debts?
to all you mancs, just take a trip down the east lancs to view the REAL european cup plus 4 replicas
@marvitodude2006 we totally deserved to win we shud of been 3-0 up at half time n ur goal was lucky as hell 2 deflections and falls right infront of lampard then van der sar slips n lampard scores n if we cn’t beat you in normal time then why did we kick ur arse at old trafford in january 2009 3-0?
van der sar blatently knows that he’s gonna save anelka’s penalty.
as much as you wish for it.. it will never happen because no matter what if roman leaves someone else will buy such a big club with big aspirations… but what if the glazers leave? what about your debts?….. wheres ronaldo
