I call it soccer because i am from America. Soccer got its name from Association football (your football). And the English people used to say assoc. instead of association. Now the term dropped. The Americans now call it soccer because when American Football first came out, they named it football to get the international people t join and play. So when someone would say “Lets play football” the international kid would think its soccer. Stop blaming, the Americans for a name that you came up with

to the whole soccer/football debate…nobody alive in the USA came up with the name football or soccer, it’s not our fault that our cultures raised us with that terminology. and every country has a top sport dependant on their economy. you can’t have multiple billion dollar sports programs. The US chose football im guessing b/c of the intrigue around it. People here watch disgustingly huge men try to kill each other. entertaining. soccer is more of a stamina, paced game. I personally love both.

Are you fucking serious? That’s the dumbest thing i’ve ever heard. Most Pro Football players could have been pro basketball players but didn’t. So you’re way off on that shit. Most WRs or RBs or Cs in football have twice the stamina/endurance of any soccer player, they also run the 40md in half the time it takes a soccer players. Football players will dominate soccer players in any sport, no matter what you think. You should goole it, this arguement has been EVERYWHERE. Football is ALWAYS on top

fine. Basketball is advantage to the soccer players, cricket is an advantage to the soccer players, baseball advantage football. Soccer players have better endurance, and running capabilities while the football players only play for at most, 4 straight plays. Soccer requires a tremendous amount of touch and finesse while football you just have to be able to truck someone. The main reason why football is a popular sport here is because it requires a big, strong build that most people dont have
