With Baseball currently in the steroid era, i was wondering if football is a sport that steroid usage also occurs constantly.

I know that its used in colleges alot but Football (the sport that strength is pretty much the main attribute needed) has not gone through a steroid era like baseball has.

So what percentage of guys in the NFL do you think are on roids?

I would probably say around 30-35%

Id say about 15%

About 20%

idk

32×52=1,664 not counting practice squad and replacement players.

Everyone except Darren Sproles

I’d say 10% of the players do. Like you said strength is a main attribute, but that is for only some position like LB, OL, DL. Also adding to much mass to your self will slow you down which is not good. Also I don’t thinks steroids makes as much of a difference in NFL as in MLB

While in baseball they take steroids and their home runs increase dramatically, in NFL it’s harder to translate into touchdowns.

ask bill belechick, he may be giving the whole NE roster steroids, “they could take away my cameras, but never my steroids!”

20%-25% seems like a good estimate.

My guess is 15 to 20 percent.

Remember, the punishment in the NFL- four or more games- means a much bigger chunk of the season is lost if a guy tests positive. That alone turns players away from trying it.

The NFL did have a steroid issue in the 1970’s and ’80’s. Back then training programs did not last year-round as they do today. And players did some stupid things to try and get that extra edge.

I say 15%.

And 90% in baseball.

about 20% of the NFL has taken or is taking steroids possible people taking steroids are Peyton Manning he uses steroids for his brain that’s why his head is so big.
