A hilarious routine from the undisputed master of intelligent comedy, George Carlin (RIP). These are the many reasons why I have ALWAYS hated baseball };-) This segment is rated PG, no foul language, so don’t dispair… };-) ENJOY, RATE, COMMENT, AND SUBSCRIBE!! —————————–

soccer is the best, everythingelse is just the rest.

yea because everyone in toronto is full of themselves :P

Don’t forget Hockey; Toronto fans are crazy.

But Football fans live and die with every single play

Baseball fans doze off during games since they play 162 lol the fact the play 162 doesn’t make it intense like football

A football game is an invent….a baseball game is just that..one game of 162

In baseball, It takes a true fan to watch a game every day for 162 days (+ the playoffs and WS if your team is good). In football, you watch at most 22 games and they are once a week. Nothing against football, I like it, but baseball is more demanding (on the fans at least)

a lot of comedians curse to make up for a lack of hilarity in the material, as if the expletives were cues to the audience to laugh. Carlin came up with fairly funny material despite the crutch of keeping it clean

@TJHARR007 if you want fans of a team that have never won, check out the Toronto Raptors, there’s somewhere besides baseball you can find fans of a team that has never won. It’s only been 15 years though, give it another 85 and we’ll see lol.

So comedy requires foul language to be funny? This was brilliant!

lol it was good. This was an extremely difficult topic to make comedy out of, and he did a great job.

haha let me guess you only like those “pure” comedians? Like who? George Carlin was a genius. Why does it matter if jews liked him..i am a citizen of the world.

lol funny shit

@Shaun17170

Ooooh, Aussie rules. Okay, yeah.

I feel that this was one of Carlin’s weak segments. NO FOWL FUCKIN LINGO!!! Not a fuck nor a shit, so it’s not too funny to me.

That’s not quite correct, and I must admit that I don’t actually follow Australian football in this country, or as that call it here “the Footy” but the AFL code of football involves a great deal of running around and there are some clashes and booting of the ball with the hand to other players. However the NRL ( the Nation Rugby Leage) is very Body Contact oreinted. Players suffer injuries constantly. We know soccer from football.

lol

Countries like Britan, Australia and Brazil call soccer Futbol.

Football is an American sport dealing in body to body contact.

isn’t football in Australia known as soccer? American Football is not soccer. now if you are saying that football is rugby then that is a different sport as well. American football is pretty rough lots of hitting and what not.

Dude baseball is boring like golf and tennis football, gridiron and basketball is so much better but thats my opinon

In my country of Australia we play many different codes of football but not a single player wears a helmet. In most of those football codes head injuries are very infrequent. Our games are just as physical as the American games. So why the need for the helmets? Is it litagation gone mad? Any explainations will be accepted

What CD is this from?

I had never heard this one :D :D :D

Baseball has the best fans in the world. Where else can you go to find fans of a team that has not won in over 100 years? Cubs fans have been with their team since day one, and it does not seem like they are leaving any time soon.

Look at the Red Sox; they invented ways of crushing their own fans’ hopes and dreams year after year, and look at them now. They are the odds-on favorite to make it to to the World Series every season now.

wat bout football is called football but only one player actually gets to touch the ball with his foot and he has to be specially brought on to do this so I believe, should be called throwball or somethin unlike baseball having a rightful name

baseball sounds like a very positve game…who says it’s a game of failure? :)
