Yeah, she went over the line, but people/media were far too harsh on her. If this was men’s soccer the player would have been suspended for few games at most and receive minor media attention.
I saw this on nealy every sports and news channel when it happened and all these lame ass commentators seem to miss something. Sure, Lambert was being rough and some times out of hand, but the girl that got thown to the ground deserved it. Watch the clip just before Lambert pulls here hair, the girl reaches back with her left hand and pulls Lamberts shorts. So much so you can see Lamberts panties in the shot. Lambert is reacting to this move. Not just walking over an attacking her.

If this were mens soccer and thei fought it’s normal but since it’s a womens it’s “idiotic?” Unless you play a sport you don’t know the bloode rush and competitiveness that runs through your body if someone pushes or tugs on my clothes I’d kick ass too!
