the worst world cup ever with to much refere’s mistakes….
I will remember that goal for as long as I live- “BOUBA DIOP IS THERE, OH AND BOUBA DIOP IS THERE!!” Not because I support Senegal particulary, but because I remember I was 12 years old and sat in the gym at school with a load of friends watching the match, and we ALL expected France to win the match, and when Senegal scored (most of us liked the underdog) the whole gym erupted into mass hysteria. Wonderful memories of the 02 World Cup =)

The hosts were Korea and Japan so its no surprise that matches that involve those to countries would have a huge audience. If it was in Europe, then the stadium would be full.

why were most of the matches in this world cup barely full except for the big matches and all korea and japan matches. last world cup all matches were barely empty but most of them full even when two weak teams face each other.
