Adelaide United on the other hand are just one win away from qualifying for the Knock Out Stage! We have a win-loss record of 3-1 so far.
The simple reason for that is Adelaide United are the best team in the AFC!!!

Oh how I miss these days. Huge success, other A League clubs were jealous of how well we performed and we were excelling on an international stage.
While this season has been disappointing, good times WILL return to Hindmarsh. We must remain faithful to the boys in red.

Adelaide is pretty good .I play in Manager Mode in Fifa07 and i choose Adelaide i dont get transfers or anything i playing on Simulate Match and my record is 19-2-0 .

I was at this game (Along with all the AUFC ACL finals). Supporters area behind the goal. where these goals were scored. Fucking intense and awesome! There was only what, 16,000-17,000 people in the entire stadium and listen to the sound thats emitting from the place. Unbelieveabe. Look up ‘David beckham 70 yard goal’ for LA Galaxy. The crowd is absoloutely shite. No noise, no enthusiasm. Not like this game.

All that stuff I mentioned will still be important Adelaide United and to the
A-league because it’s put the A-league on the world map! By beating the champions of the V-league, J-league and Uzbekistan National League we proved that Australian clubs can play against the best of the best and come out on top! The world has respect for the A-league now an it’s all thanks to Adelaide United!
And in the 2009/10 season, Adelaide United will win the premiership!

Adelaide wont be the 5th best team anymore.
But Melbourne Victory will STILL be A-League CHAMPIONS.

-V-league champs, the J-league champs (also the Emperor’s Cup champs), the Uzbekistan runners up.
-Got the “Best and Fairest” award from the FIFA World Cup
-Got both the best and second best goal in the FIFA World Cup.
We only lost to Gamba so badly cos we were tired.
We played 9 more games than you and still drew with you on points AND goal difference.
And AU and MV are in the 2010 ACL.

So how can you say that we embaress the A-League?
CCM is the one who got thrashed 5-0 at home. You’re also wrong about the last bit. The A-Leahue won’t have to wait till 2010 when Victory are back in the ACL for someone to win, but actually all Newcastle need is a point from their next game and they are throught to the next round.
