Best game ever. Just as loud as Nebraska 01, but with bigger implications. This place was ROCKIN that night. Deafening. Unfortunately, there hasn’t been a game like this since, and now that the student section is being changed, there probably never will be a crowd like this one again. I love PSU football, always will. Fight on State..LETS GO PSU!

im 15 and im from so cal and i never payed attention to college football until i was 11 years old and my sister went to penn state… she kept talking about how big of a deal this game was around campus. my family sat at home and watched this game and that was the first time i watched PSU play… ive been a die hard fan ever since

Agree completely. Nothing even comes close to that 2005 osu game. I’ve been to every big game at beaver stadium since that game. All of the full stadium whiteouts, every osu and michigan game. None of those games were as loud as that 05 game. Loudest game in the history of football.

GREAT video. I was a sophomore at the time so I’m a little bit biased, but that is LITERALLY the best sporting event I’ve ever been to. Oh, and I’ve been to Cal Ripken Jr.’s last game… that’s how intense and amazing this game was.

Say the word “Hamby” to any OSU fan and they’ll start frothing at the mouth.
Not only did he miss an easy block that resulted in the Troy Smith sack/fumble, but he also dropped an easy TD catch against Texas that year.
Hamby….Grrrrr!

OSU is top ranked garbage that is a discrase to college football they should be baned from BCS bowl games.
